A WORD FROM PASTOR ADAM ...

Seemingly overnight, culture has shifted to the point where right and wrong are no longer measured by universal truth, but by popular opinion. We are experiencing what feels like the new normal in our society. A new normal that tells us the Bible is no longer relevant. A new normal that tells us the Church community is no longer needed. A new normal that tells us our children and teenagers no longer need the relationships built within the church. What if there is something we are missing because we fell into this trap of the new normal?  A pastor once told me, "What is normal for us often keeps us from recongnizing the possibility of something greater."  What we call normal is rarely all that God has planned for us.  I would invite you to ask yourself, are you seeking the results of God in your life or are you stuck in the new normal? The book of Matthew tells us to "Seek first the kingdom, and the rest will be added."  When we are willing to walk past the normal and seek what God has for us, we discover what we truly needed all along - Jesus.

I am blessed to call Destiny Church home and I would be honored if you called it your home as well. We are not a church family that is looking for the next great program or a great marketing strategy to put us over the top; but simply to love you for who you are regardless of where life has taken you. Whatever your faith or background is, our doors are open to you.
